Nice diggin' on these four. The Seated with the square nail hole is a interesting find. Sounds like you covered some ground to come up with these, but it isn't often you see 2 seated same day. Nice!!

Nice diggin' on these four. The Seated with the square nail hole is a interesting find. Sounds like you covered some ground to come up with these, but it isn't often you see 2 seated same day. Nice!!

Interesting thing about the spot where I got the holed seated is that it is full of brass square nails. Probably from ship building/repair or dock construction perhaps

I don’t know but probably for various reasons including safekeeping. Ive found a holed 17th century French silver, 17th century Spanish cob, a couple holed 18th /early 19th century Spanish milled silvers, a US Large Cent, Barber dime and now a Seated dime

I just realized the button is probably actually a leather ornament but still looks earlier than the other stuff. Better pic of the silver too

Yeah not often you find a holed US silver. Ive got quite a few holed colonial era silvers though

Nice!!!!!!! Seated anything is right at the top of my bucket list. Nice that one is holed as well, only holed coin I even found was a largie but the guy didn’t finish the hole, just I giant dent dead center to ruin my coin. Congrats!!!!!!
