Second attempt - A Bit o' SILVER!!!

I thought I'd sneak in a quick post before all my relatives descend on my house tonight for a 5 day stay. I'm talking eleven people and two dogs in my house. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! :o I have the shed and closets prepared for everyone. :icon_thumleft:

This was my second try at the new spot where I dug the 2-center on Thursday. No coins in the 1800's today, but I did find a few silver. :icon_thumleft: I gridded the front yard and side yard today. Still have the backyard, pasture, and around the outbuildings to go.

My finds were:

*1934 Quarter

*1939 Merc

*1944 War nickel & 1940 Jefferson nickel

*Nine wheats - oldest being 1923

*1969 Lincoln penny shot in the head! :'(

*Sterling ring

*Sterling buckle - Pat. 8/5/24

*Tiny compass, pocket knife, Model T Ford ignition piece, tiny brass buckle.

Well, that's all Folks.
Thanks for looking,
MM

Thanks Jim.
It's tough finding silver quarters anymore. I usually get dimes. The funny thing is they are always Mercs and hardly ever Rosies. :icon_scratch:
Have a good one buddy,
Doug

When does "Doug's Coin and Jewelry Store" open up? You are on a good run. Will you wish you were back out there detecting while the relatives are there? Bet you will. You may even wish you were in jail. Nice finds and more HH.

Q-
By the time the relatives arrived and we all went to bed it was 2:00am. :sleepy2: Then I was woke up by kids and dogs running up and down the stairs screaming, barking, and chasing each other around the house at 6:00am. :o
Do you have any room in one of your barns for ME? :BangHead:
