I got out to the fields on the 4th. A nice warm day. Strange weather lately. We had a heck of a rain storm last week.

Walk two hours in a large field. Saw right away someone else had walked it. I found two broken relics.

Then I hit the fields again yesterday the 6th. Walked about 6 hours in a larger field than the 4th. The sun was just coming up when I got in the field. Lots of fog from the frost burning off. So much I could not see the far end of the field.

Right off the bat I found a large blade tip.

I was thinking "That's a good sign" It could be the best sign, "a sign that is a sign"

The mud was frozen and walking was relatively easy until the sun warmed up the ground and melted the mud. Then it was slip and slide.

Found a broken point and was soon again bending down to pick up a flake when I spotted this point out of the corner of my eye.

Glad you got out and had success! As far as heartbreakers go, that's truly a heartbreaker!

That Lost Lake would have been a sweet one whole. Even broken its still a nice find. I think I would have it restored.

Yeah, that's as heartbreaking as it gets. Especially positioned like that in the dirt. Danged tease!

The corner notch is great, even broken. I'd make a note and look that exact spot year after year. A friend found the second half of a nice point three years later.

I have found some nice points and hafted scrapers on the site. Two years ago I found a decent pestle.
After the kirk I was think anything is possible. I still have much to hunt there.
