My tools I use other then a detector.

1. A leather nail bag with multiple pockets for trash, coin, tools, etc.
2. 3 in 1 digging tool. Going on it's 4th year with me. Digs great plugs.
3. Dry wall saw. Great for cutting bigger roots.
4. Brass probe for clad hunting areas. Be careful with probe rods as they will mark valuable coins.
5. Vibra Probe 560 electronic pinpointer. Has saved many a good find from being scratched with digging tools.
6. Towel to put dirt on while digging holes to leave the area I am hunting clean.

I don't think I carry anything different then anyone else but I do take:
Towels, cutting pliers, garden trowel, four inch folding knife, magnifing glass, Knee pads ( at my age I need em)
Wizard probe, fanny pack for coins, tools etc. plastic bag for trash, extra batteries, gloves. In the car I also keep rubber boots, an Army field jacket, first aid kit and a shovel. So I've got a lot of second tools.HH Bob.B
