Just found this tonight. To my knowledge it's not a gold area but I would do some research to see what it offers. It is mountainous
from Flag to Kingman so no telling what you might find.

The northeast third of AZ is NOT known for gold occurences. I'm not 100% sure of Seligman but the north 1/3 of AZ is composed of a large sedimentary area called the Mogollon heights, or Colorado Plateau. I don't think there are any known gold occurences up there. TTC

Thanks Terry, I grew up hunting and fishing in the Kaibab, and Coconino NFs, but never any prospecting. And it makes geological sense, as I am pretty familiar wit AZa topography. Thanks again

Aren't you (in Seligman) only 60 miles east of Kingman? If so, I'd find some Geological maps of the Kingman mines and try to match up to same rocks types
around Seligman.
