Haven't posted in a while so thought I would post just to let everyone know I am still detecting. This past Sunday I drove the 65 miles to a small town I have been detecting at and was able to get permission to detect at 4 homes in this small town. The last house I was at a got a real good Nickel signal near the old clothes line. I dug down the 5 or 6 inches to reveal a nickel. After washing it off I realized I had just found my first ever "V" nickel. I was even happier to find out it was a semi-key date (1894) Thanks for looking.

Nice find. I found an 1894 earlier this year as well. It's too bad they don't come out of the ground a little better though huh. Still, excellent score!
