sorry you didnt get response I too would like to hear some of the basic's of the beach hunt. do you still try and do a swing motion det in the water or by just moving forward work, and secondly do you come to think of it there are about a 100 questions on this beach thing when it comes to the wading side of detecting

I'll say tyhat low settings are best for the X2 say 3-4 on disc. Try sens. at about 8 & leave your silencer off unless getting unstable signals. Haven't tried w/iron null yet but do have magnet wired in scoop to catch small nails that might fall through. You can sweep in water but make them slow to try and separate signals.
