Hi Everyone !

I've been wanting to go back to a park that I went to once last year even though the only thing I found were a couple old wheats. I just had a feeling about this place.
This park is absolutely loaded with iron so this time I took my Fisher CZ-3D. I spent 5 1/2 hours working an area about 30 ft. X 30 ft. just inching along and this is what I found. . . seven silver dimes and 18 wheats.

Hey! for a minute I thought this was BuckleBoy's post ;D

Nice dimes!

I did a similar thing back in 1983. I went to a couple spots in a park where I had dug some Barbers and IHs and I put up a chalk line and walked it back and forth. I used very low discrimination and hunted very very slowly overlapping my swings.

Out of 2 spots about 8x8 foot and the other 3x3 foot I dug about 8 IHs, a couple Buffs, and several silver dimes (as I recall). I also dug a solid gold antique wedding band. This was done in a very old park that had been used for carnivals (still is).

Most THers hunt way too fast today.

WTG on your silver finds. It is nice to find a place like that to give up so many nice coins. Now move over another 30 foot section and do the samething......Matt
