I thought I'd better clear that up quick, with all the swimming going on today... ( toy car):D
I hunted a swimming area at daylight this morning for about an hour and a half. I Found a nice sterling band with 8 CZ's in it. I think they are anyhow. It was out in about 2 1/2 feet of water and the ring showed up on the Ace 250 as a dime. All of the silver rings I've found with the Ace have registered as a dime. I also found 2 keys and some change in one spot on the beach. Looked like a blanket spill. I found both cars in the water too. The signal were few and far between but most were good ones.

The other pics came from a couple of tot lot hunts. Found a bunch of change and a couple of junk rings and an earring but nothin spectacular.

Be very careful with that land detector in the water, one slip, drop or lifting the coil too high and your detector is fried.

That's very good advice. I've been wading around for around 30 yrs. I've been very fornutate to not have any accidents. (Knock on wood real fast) Thanks for the tip and have a great day hunting. I hope you find the biggun!
