After getting permission yesterday i went to an empty lot after work. 1 hour into the hunt i had nothing. Tons of junk from them tearing house down. I worked my way towards my truck and got near the sidewalk the 250 screamed dime at 6in.Once in awhile it would go to a penny so i thought just a deep penny. I dug the plug and took it out and there layed a 1914d barber dime. After looking at the barber i waved my detector and it rang penny. My pinpointer broke over the weekend so it is tough without it. After diggin awhile
i found a 1910 wheatie. Waved again 1916 wheatie. Ended with 4 wheaties and the barber from that hole. Searched along the walk and found 6 more wheaties and 60 cents in clad. Found last wheatie in my bag after pic.

Nice finds, my 250 will do the same thing sometimes, says dime and then it turns out to be a penny! ( I still dig it and still keep it though, lol)

Love them Barbers!! WTG

Nice Silver and copper
even after 18 months of diggin, I can't tell whats down there by sound or readout,
I set my sensitivity high, my discrimination low
