the next time I go sluicing should i put some bird shot with my sand to see if the E-Z sluice will grab the bird shot....just to see if the sluice is capturing what its supposed too..and were it holds on to it..we do it when we pratice panning..i thought it mite help a person under stand there equipment better..If it wasn't 8 degrease out side and snowing i would try it.Any input would be nice....

Loop, if it's 8 degrees outside, make sure you use warm water to pan... easier on the bare hands! No... I didn't think so either. If you use bird shot, yes a good way to test, flatten some out... cut some up to make "course" color, and spray paint them white so you can see most of them while the water is flowing. TTC

Thanks for the I deer on flattening, and painting Terry.C...May be I should use gold paint and diffrent size bird shot in case I get some nosey people hanging around,I could salt it with out the worry of using real gold...lol
