the 5900 with a 15 inch coil will smoke my tdi pro 12 inch coil in an air test..
the ground is still frozen to dig a hole and try a depth test out side
so far not in press with the tdi pro but time will tell

the sierra madre is a 5900 with out the filters for discretion
put a 15 inch coil and you will go so deep you better have a man size shovel to dig

my 5900 will go down 40 inches on a 6 by 9 by 3 inch target.
it was really 34 inches deep but i rase the loop another 6 inches and it still saw it..
dug one like that last year...
it weighed 28 pounds solid copper nice specimen.

I was told they use the sierra madre to find gold. it's an all metal detector, it ground balance like the 6000 di pro...
the only pure analogue detector still made by white's

I've heard they go deep I just don't have much experience with Whites detectors. I've used old blue coinmasters many times but never anything black. I'm feeling the need for an analog Vlf so I might go for one.
