I have all my mercury and Roosevelt dimes rolled together, but I think I have many more mercs than Roosevelts.
My totals are:
Mercs& Roosies-3250
Barber - 442
Seated - 116
Bust - 1

Yes, My son and I have found many more mercs than rosies. I don't have the numbers in front of me but it could be close to 2 to 1. Might be because in our area lots of places have been hunted so all the shallower stuff(rosies) have been cleaned out. We get the deeper stuff the others missed.

I would have to say my percentage is about 60% mercs and 40% Rosies (silver). Can't say for sure. But I've always contributed it to the mercs being minted longer 1916 to 1945 29 yrs. as apposed to the silver rosie being minted from 1946 to 1964 18 yrs. But that's just my guess. HH

I hesitated in doing this because it would take awhile to add everything up and I didn't want to appear to be bragging or anything. But here are the totals for mercs and silver roosies after 28 years of metal detecting. This does not include coins found at competition treasure hunts, nor those found in caches, nor those found in the motherlode of all parks, Fairmount Park in Philly, before the archies got us thrown out of there. These are all from regular coinshooting, mostly one at a time.

Mercs = 1985
Roosies= 1923

Roughly 51% mercs, 49% roosies

I agree with the comment about the years of issue. I also think many of us look for those older sites rather than those from specifically the 50's and 60's. I have found 19 Mercs to 9 Roosies, but almost as many Barbers and Seateds as Mercs.
