I found this 925 dragon ring on Saturday and it was really twisted up. I guess I would call it a detected find. But when I went to dig the signal, I saw that it was sitting of the grass. So I just reached down and picked it up.

I tried to straighten it up the best I could. I also found a wheat penny and some other odds and ends. The finds and trash came from a play area situated on grass, no sand, bark or wood chips, just grass. This park has a swing set and few climbing apparatuses of which I searched around. I concentrated mainly in the out laying areas.

OHHHHHHHHHHH, nice ring, my wife would love it.
And thanks for picking up all that junk, now you and I won't
have to pick it up the next time we go detecting. I hope all
hunters on here pick up there junk. Why in the heck would you
not want to pick up your junk. Some people amaze me, they dig
it and then cover it up, just to redetect it the next time and dig
it again. Anyway Thanks for the post.

Great find on the ring. I like the design of the eastern dragon, I thinks its pretty cool. But I like many others love the western dragons. I have (had rather) a great deal of dragon statues, most all western dragons.

Wouldn't it be really cool to find a ring with the western dragon style, say a few blue diamonds for eyes?

Could you imagine the weight that one would be with good detail?

Anyways, sorry for hijackin ya post. Great find. You found an item that is one of long time interest to me.

Congratulations,

Postalrevnant

Thanks everyone.

Hi ringfinder, I've watch well known MD'er do exactly what you say, they even roll up foil and throw it back down in the sand.

Hi Postalrevnant, yeah I would rather have a Western Dragon as you have discribed, thanks.

Thanks everyone.

Is the ring silver?
What's the little soldier figure? Nice finds!

Hi COUNTRY GIRL.

The number 925 represents silver content. In layman’s terms means the item marked 925 has 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of something else. Pure silver would be .999. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

The small figure is a Knight. Here's a close up of the knight and I pointed out the 925 mark on the silver dragon ring with a nice blue box.
