Hello, today was a cold, windy, drizzly day and I headed out to the fairgrounds were minelabs kicked my arse. I got some clad and then a dime hit. Then i saw that shinny circle pop out of the plug and i did a little happy dance. I cleaned it up at home and it turned out to be a 1945 Merc. Next to it i got some sort of lipstick tube and searched for her friends....none. I moved on and was picking up coins from the this years fair and got a zinc hit and it turned out to be a ring...very nicely made but no mark on the inside. It is not a gumball ring nor a walmart special and it came out shinny so I'll just have to assume its silver. Well, at least i got one for sure silver to end my 3 month old silver drought plus a good ring to add to my collection. (this year was entirely junk rings) Happy Hunting!
