Today I bought $100 worth of dimes and pulled this sweet 1943 Mercury Dime in my very first roll. I thought I was going to have a dream score, but that ended up being the only silver. The very last roll had a beautiful silver rim in the roll, but that ended up being a 2004 Bahama dime. Err.
On the way home I stopped by another bank I have never been to and asked for halves. The teller was really nice and she said "I got some yesterday that I have been trying to get rid of". She asked me if I was looking for silver and I just said I was looking for other dates as well. $51.50 in halves got me a nice 1965 half. Great success!
