Hit one of my favorite parks which is starting to get a little hunted out, so I've been digging more shallow signals and also deep iffy signals I ignored in the past. A half hour in, I had a fairly loud penny signal which surprised me when I dug the hole and saw a few links of silver chain showing in the hole. Since it was a loud signal, I started getting excited and walked the pointer back over the hole looking for more - sure enough, a much longer stretch of silver bracelet chain, a 1961 memorial penny, AND a silver heart pendant came out! I was super happy at that point, but I waved the machine back over the hole to see if I had missed anything. Got a faint high tone a few inches off the main hole so I thought I missed a few chain links. Nope. It was a 1914 Barber dime, 6 inches down! It must have been hidden by the larger signal. That made my day completely...
