Found this a few days ago . It gave a mixed copper/silver signal . When I recovered it I thought cool a copper broche with the center missing. After cleaning I discovered what I thought was the front was instead the back and I had rescued a silver lady from the dirt. One would think she would be more pleased!! No matter she is SILVER . This was found under as apple tree next to my house. My home is only 15 years old and so far has produced two large cents and now her. Just goes to show there's old dirt everywhere. goldbill

Now that's a very cool piece and I think it's really old too! :o
Stylistically, it looks to date to about 1820 or 30. I feel it also holds some real value.

Congrats Bill!
