Looks fairly modern, and if it was sterling, it should be marked as such. Probably plate at best.

Still, based on the pictures, it's still of value to someone = yard sale, etc. Don't give into "you've lost money"! You should easily be able to recoup, and just maybe profit - depending on your expenditure.

That's indeed worth something as it seems to be in good condition. Unless it's marked somewhere "sterling" or "925" it likely isn't pure silver. Silver plate is still worth something if it's in nice condition though. :icon_thumleft:
