Silver ring, a medallion,mini hatchet and old french coin from two hunts.

Went out today after a not so great 6 hr hunt last weekend. I did find a sterling ring at an old house tear down site, but the only old coin for the last two weekends was a 1947 french coin. Thanks for looking!

The mint mark on the French coin is directly under the date. If the mark is "A", the mint is Paris. The only other French mint in operation in 1947 (I believe) was at Beaumont-le-Roger; in that case the MM should be "B".
