Today after work I headed out to Emerald Park in the North Eugene area. This park has given me a few old coins in the past but lately I haven't been able to pull out anything too great. Today I got a couple Silver rings. One is a plain band not marked 925 nor Sterling, and the other has BlackHills gold leaves on top. This one is marked "STER" but it has no gold markings. I ended up with a couple bucks in clad. Also, an ashtray (a first for me). There's no metal in the ashtray ~ it just happen to be near a pulltab that I decided to dig up hoping for some GOLD. I found the pull tab right away, but down a little deeper I saw something shiny ~ I dug around it and out popped an ashtray! WEIRD!!

It's probably an extremely rare ashtray that you should take to the Antique Road Show.

(can't say I've ever found an ashtray before either :) )
