Some back story would be nice ! That's a beautiful ring , looks like it was worn for many years before it was dropped . It may
well be Navajo made - in Arizona , or New Mexico .

Very nice,, that's a dark green turquoise.

Funny, I looked with a mag., no mark! I guess hand made? I really don't know, but it is Silver.

I dug it at a Park near the Lake here in Cleveland. Was only 4-5" down. Still researching.

Oh yeah , It's all hand made - first a bezel is made to fit the stone , it is then soldered down to the " back plate " along with the
ornamental bead wire (around the bezel ) the ring shank is formed and soldered to the underside of the back plate. Clean up ,
polish and set the stone . Nice find !
