SilverCounselors CRH Log

Wow, that's a lot of quarters without finding any silver. I'm impressed that you had the perseverance to stick with it thru that many skunk boxes. Congrats.

Nickel Box #103: skunk

Dime Box #15: 1960 D

On a whim I got a box of dimes and it paid off! Got a 1968 proof too.

I dumped my coins and found 85 cents in Canadian plus a dime and a silver nickel! 1943 P That is my first reject shot silver.

Tomorrow I'm gonna get my half box and another nickel box I hope.

$300 MWR Dimes: 1959 D

I hate dimes just because I have glasses and still can't see the dates as efficiently as I see the other denominations. I may get another box later this week just because I have been hitting with dimes but we'll see how the dump goes and how much I am off because the dimes get counted as pennies.

$80 MWR Nickels: 1942 S

Also found another wounded or speared in the rear 2005 bison.

$80 CWR Quarters: skunk

Found 5 keepers for my quarters though.

Went to one of my banks where I normally just get nickels and dimes. The head teller accidentally got a box of halves and was worried that she may sit on them forever. I asked if I could purchase it and she said absolutely so I am in their good graces now for awhile!

Halve Box #49: 1964 D

Also found a 1993 proof, and 2 1987 P and a 1987 D. I didn't find the 90% til the 3rd to last roll and was expecting a skunk til that super shinny rim was poking out.

Anyways thats all this week, I hope everyone has a Merry Chirstmas.

Year in review
Nickels were exceptional for me this year. Half dollars were great as well but I need to hit another small collection dump again like I did in the summer with 40 silvers. Quarters were pathetic but I did not have high hopes to finding anything. The sole find was pure accident. This coming year I will get some quarters here and there but only to fill up holes in my folders. Dimes were okay and I will continue to get them.

Overall Silver Total

25.726 ounces found My goal was initially 10 ounces but I upped the goal after finding a little dump in the summer.
I officially have more silver found than bought and I want to keep it that way!

My goal for 2016 is to hit 26 ounces

Good luck everyone and have a happy new year!

$40 CWR Nickels: skunk

$40 MWR Nickels: skunk

$100 CWR Dimes: 1962 D & 1964

$100 MWR Dimes: 1964 D

$100 CWR Quarters: skunk

$100 MWR Quarters: skunk

$220 Ikes: 1976 S 40% Silver type 1
Also found 6 type 2 1972 type 2!!

I was so excited I found the 40% the type 2 were just icing on the cake even though they are worth so much more.

The bank had about 100 or so more ikes I just didn't have enough money to buy them all. I'm going to dump my coins monday am and call the bank at 9:01 to see if they still have the ikes and run down there and get them if possible. Amazing start to the new year!!! :D
