987 Dimes
153 Nickels
1115 Memorial Cents
Old coins:

12 Wheats
1 old Jefferson nickel
2 Mercs
1 silver roosie
2 silver Washington Quarters
2440 coins totaling $306.46 in six weeks!!

Sorry I have no pics but he loves that coil and asked me to post!

Wow, tim is doing so well!! COngrats !!

What do you mean by cherry picking?
How much hunt time was all this found in?
However long, it is VERY impressive. Thumbs up big time!

I guess that kind of pays for the coil.

Smiles!

Those totals are simply unbelieveable! Wow, congrats to your friend. At the rate he's going he'll pay for his metal detector AND the new coil AND a pinpointer AND digging tools in a very few weeks from now! ;D

and it varies, but from two to six hours a day, seldom more than that! The coil has already paid for itself. When I say cherry picking I mean he has basically been hunting for and digging mostly quarters and dimes!

He puts in the hours and deserves the pay!

Tim told me he is planning to be at the county fairgrounds early on the morning after the amusements move out. Sounds like he'll have the area clean by the time I get there.
I'll still show with my bigfoot attached. It is really good for covering a lot of territory quickly, with that wide scan area.

It would be nice to know more about how the coil is working.
How stable it is, how well it pinpoints? Was there any trouble
with the settings.

Oh .. you might want to check your math.

1060 quarters is $265.00
987 dimes is $98.70 already over $350

Either way that is a lot of good digging for 6 weeks ... my back would be
killing me digging all those holes ... at least there is plenty of money for back rub lotion.

congrats

Insane Hunts! Those are incredible, if I ever spent that much time out, and by the end of digging all of those holes...well, I'd be Sweating Dirt! :D Nice!
