Small Town Bank.....

I went to this little town a while back and didn't make it there before 2:00...lobby was closed. Today I took one of those extended lunch hours and went there again. This bank had a $500 bag and $340 in rolls. I was really skeptical about the bag because if there was a teller that collected silver, I figured it had been cherry picked. It wasn't....

The 55 Franklin definitely goes into my collection book...the other two I already had. I was so excited about the 55 I let out a big wahoo in my car. This one came out of one of the rolls.

Thanks TW. Tell your friend congrats on that 55...that is a good one to find first!

Concerning the set, I still have a ways to go yet. It is so funny because just last week one of our fellow CRH'ers here is this forum offered a 1955 to me in a swap for other coins he was looking for. I wish he would now offer a Barber half to me...maybe I would find on of them next week.....ha!

Nice job LJ!!!

It feels good to pull those Ben's out doesn't it. I think I like the excitement from the walkers just a little more though. I have several Ben's that are in great condition and my book is full now. If you want to trade up for better ones or maybe a few you don't have yet just let me know.

Good thing for extended lunch hours and going back to that bank!!! ;D Congratulations on the 1955 Franklin, I remember you mentioning that you wanted to find one and now you did! You did great, track down some more banks as you are only 11-40% silver halves from 2000!!!!
