I don't think you're going to find anything cheaper than Riker mounts.
There's a local antique store by me that sells them individually they cost a little more than they would ordering them but I can buy them one at a time with no shipping charge maybe try antique stores by you

Those are nice I used to salvage old picture frames putting a back on one of them putting hinges and a clasp to make very similar ones

I use Steeles Display Cases out of Westerville Ohio. Mike is a great guy and has great cases. I usually only buy the 12x18x2 walnut cases and I have had great luck with them from Mike. Haven't had any problems at all. His prices are very reasonable too and the more you buy the cheaper they are.

Collectors Trade Show: Steele's Display Cases

I just noticed that the name is messed on on that link. It is Steeles Display Cases.

I have gotten some nice wall hanging types at Michaels before. But they were heavy and deep.

The closest place for me to buy them is a little civil war shop in town.I always just get the cheaper made black cardboard type's.I should reconsider another place too buy them though being it is more of a tourist shop,so I am sure I could find them cheaper somewhere else I just never really shopped around for them.

Well I ordered from Collectors House CO on the internet. You can get a case of 12 with sipping for $88. Its the cheapest place I have found so far. They usually ship them out within 2 days. They are all the same thing Riker so if you shop around you can get a better deal. I don't have the money to drop $40 on a wooden one but maybe in the future. Thanks everyone

Rock, what size Rikers did you buy? You can get a case of 8x12x1 Rikers from Steeles for $36.00. The 8x12x2 are $45.00. Even after adding shipping they are still cheaper.

I'm not sure how well this shows up but I took a picture of their add in IAM magazine.

I buy 5 of the 12x18x2 Walnut frames at a time and get them shipping and all for around $140 which is less then $30 each. You can't buy them at shows for that. I have seen them as high as $45 each at shows.

I got 12x16x3/4 for the price I paid. That was the cheapest price I found. Didn't see the steels site. I have some 8x12 frames and they are okay size but for site frames the larger ones are better.

Try Troy Futral at 334.821.5823 or 334.703.4313. Great variety of woods at great prices and as fine a fellow to deal with that you could find. Troy also hosts one of the largest and best shows in the Southeast in Dothan. When the children were younger, on top of giving a discount off already low prices if I bought two frames, he'd give each of the kids a 6 x 9 cedar to encourage the hobby.
