Soccer field gives up the GOLD

This is from this mornings hunt at a local soccer field. This field has been hit hard before, and usually doesn't give up much. 2 hours of hunting only kicked up 3 nickels, 1 quarter, and 1 zinc cent. Loads of can slaw though, and this killer necklace. I had to use my pocket knife to surgically remove it from the grass roots. All cleaned up it weighs 11.6 grams and is marked 14k. Not a bad morning at all. I wanted to stay and hunt more but the soccer teams were showing up for practice. There has to be more gold there I am certain. I am gonna try a differant field this evening when it cools down a bit. Luck in the hunt.

You can see how it got lost, the lobster clasp is missing... good for you, easy to get repaired.
