Hey guys, got out with Nepa-will today to a spot of his that hes pounded with others and always seems to give up some goods. Managed 6 wheats, 2 buff nickels and a 1949 Jefferson nickel and last but not least a 1944 merc!, 20150417_172741.jpg 20150417_172745.jpg 3rd straight hunt with silver, that's silver #5 on the year, slow start but that's where I was last year at this time. Thanks Will!! 20150417_174042.jpg

I usually never clean my silver but this one had an ugly brown tarnish on it, a little baking soda and boom, nice and clean! 20150417_174217.jpg

Isn't that strange how a lowly lil silver dime can make it all worthwhile? I know it does for me.

And about cleaning them up? I might consider a rare coin a no no, but, "common" silver? I like them to shine up in my display case! :)

WTG!

my prior hunt from this was miserable so its like an up and down rollercoaster

Rollercoaster is right. As long as there are "ups", I can deal with the "downs" haha.
