Some Kind of Tooth Fossil - Please Help Identify

Doesn't look like a whale tooth to me. I don't see any enamel. I will post one of mine for comparison though. "From Florida's east coast.

Yours might be a section of dugong rib.

Man, yours is nice! Thanks for the idea on mine. I hope it's not Dugong rib, there were so many on the bottom, that I tried to avoid them. This is much smaller (less than an inch in diameter) than the other rib pieces I saw, so I was hoping it was a tooth of some kind.

Looks like it is just a very worn dugong bone fragment. There is no enamel, and the shape is a little off to be a tooth. Sorry!

Did you find any good megs on your dive?

D'oh! Well into the trash it goes then. :) I appreciate the help, guys!

Nothing too great for megs, but a few smaller ones... had a blast finding them either way!
