some unique finds from yesterday...

went out with my 2 boys yesterday, my little guy is only 5 and were scouting the woods near our home and came across an old house in the middle of the woods that was all borded up and deteriorating badly. it looks like kids have been inside it for years trashing it. anyhow me being me i just had to get inside and take a look around. glad i did, the place is like a time capsule inside, so much old stuff everywhere i only looked around for a few minutes cause i didnt want my little one inside with me and came up with some pretty neat finds. Couldnt really detect the property around it because of the high brush and pickers all around it. The neatest thing i found was a letter from someone dated july 8 1929, the paper wasnt even frail, looked like it was from yesterday. even found a 1929 d wheatie also in amazing condition

just a kinda "hey how are you" type letter. I didnt like the idea of taking it so i put it right back where it was

oh i intend on it, as soon as the heat n humidity die down a bit and im only gonna bring my 11 yr old, too dangerous for the little guy

will do, im itchin to go back but like i was saying, the heat n humidity make it unbearable in that shack. Oh well its been there for years and isnt going anywhere anytime soon.
