Some Wonder if Florida Lottery is 'Fixed'

FLORIDA -- Saturday's Florida lottery drawing was one for the history books. Michelle, The Lotto Lady, called out the numbers as they were jetted out from among the bouncing balls and into the display case.

Normal procedure, until she got to ball number three.

"48," Michelle announced. Only, there was no white ball with a black "48" on it.

Michelle paused, as if she was waiting on the ball to magically materialize.

Still no 48.

were/How did she get "48" ?

Why was a A replacement drawing not held As is the rule ?

Don't be so fast to judge, I know Michelle and she was using her precognitive powers at that time :laughing9:

Not fixed. You can see the ball goes up the shoot but gets stuck (unable to enter the chamber) which is why she's able to read the number. Notice when she moves on to the 4th number it falls back down the shoot.

You have better odds of being elected governor of Florida than you do of winning the lottery.... :D

I would not be surprised if it was fixed. When I was living in Florida in the mid 1960s , all the liquor licenses were run by the Mafia and you had to pay an extra ten thousand or so on the side just to get a liquor license. Everyone knew it and it was just an accepted business practice. If you violated the liquor laws you didn't have to worry about the government enforcement people. It was the big guys with no neck that would come and cut your thumbs off. Monty
