someone ran out of penny rolls

went to the bank today and got 100 rolls of pennies and 30 rolls of nickles .when putting them in a bag i noticed one of the penny rolls was very loose and shorter than the rest .I almost gave it back .Im glad I didnt cause when I opened it I was very surprised .It was a roll of 50 dimes .So right off the bat Im ahead .will post the rest of finds tomorrow

wonder what the bank paid the person who turned in that roll? dang the bad luck if they only got 50 cents for that five dollar roll.

oh well....their loss is your gain. congrats.

now...any keepers in those dimes?

Funny you should write this, just last week I got three rolls like that. None had the full 50 dimes, each was 40 something, but who's complaining!?

and out of the 20 rolls of nickles I got just one war nickle 1942 although I THOUGHT ALL OF THOSE HAD A MINT MARK ON THE BACK ,THIS ONE DOESNT HAVE

Nice work on the steel!

I have yet to find one of those in the wild.

And the nickel you found is not a war nickel unfortunately.

In 1942, they made normal nickels and then part way through the year switched to the silver composition. So you nabbed one of the non-silver ones.
