That pendant is way cool and dated. Love it. Always love the Indians. My favorite US coin design. Great scores mate.

The Breeder's Gazette of March, 4, 1896 at page 167 noted: "The ninth annual exhibition of the East Carolina Fish, Oyster, Game and Industrial Association was held at New Berne, N. C. Feb. 24 to 29 and was a great success." The title to the article is "New Berne's Midwinter Fair". So.....the beginning date for your find was no earlier than 1887; truly a great find.

Some more info:
EAST CAROLINA FISH, OYSTER, GAME AND
INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.

The first Fair held by this Association was November 13, 1887. It was permanently organized in April, 1888.

These fairs are usually held in February, and are generally considered the best held in the State, while it is universally conceded that, so far as the fish, oyster and game exhibits are concerned, they far excel any other Fair in the United States.

Started with a Garrett. I think I've probably tried everything make and model from 1977, all the way to the up to the E-trac and GPX 4800.
Nothing new as for me now, I am pretty much handicapped.
