Can't really tell anything from that pic. Looks like an arch. Just an arch. If you go closer and see smaller signs/symbols, it may be something.

Just can't say from that pic.

Possibly some Native American artifacts. Look at the ground for any surface finds, but before you pick any up make sure you know the laws of the state you're in. Pieces of flint and pottery are clues that there was activity there.

Perses....that is a good one. I doubt Atlantis is on Mars. At least I am thinking that is a picture taken by the Mars Rover looking back at it's tracks. Let me know if I am mistaken.

Take care.....:laughing7:

A cheap one until I can decide on a very good brand-name one to buy.

If you noticed it then so did somebody else many years ago. The question is... did the "booty" they carried coincide with them wanting to bury it at the same time they arrived at this place [and thus used it as a marker]? Why not? Go ahead and check it out you're already there. I hope you find something but I don't think it's associated with any conspiratorial "Let's bury our booty here lads and make everybody think we buried it on Oak Island :laughing7:!" But it's definitely a spot where people in the area might gravitate to [you did] and thereby definitely necessitates a little time swinging the ol' detector.

If you are referring to Spanish sign, I think there is a forum for that, or at least a better place to post where you may get an answer. Anyway, I kind of suck at figuring Spanish signs out, so that leaves me out of the running for guesses to what may be there.

However even if they are right. it could have been used as a Marker.
Check around the area for stashes & lost items

Am I the only person that sees a head facing right just to the right of the arch in the original post?
