Better than my morning-cleaning cat pans, sweeping, mopping, mowing grass, etc. And dog to the vet this afternoon for a nice $300 bill : )

Thank you for arranging them in a pretty pattern for us. Now it will be easy for you to find which tool you need to build your house, fix your house and cut your steak with when all is said and done.

I'm sure a little WD 40 will loosen them right up.

I say we all flood American Diggers with pics of our "good" stuff and requests for them to broker our finds-hey, I'd give them 20% of nothing! : )

I may need a expert to negotiate a fair price.

Ya know, I had that same problem once before. My iron discrimination circuit was on the fritz. I just poured a little Jim Beam in the detector, swished and rinsed. Worked fine ever after. In fact,I can safely say, I haven't found a piece of iron with that detector since! LOL

HH!

I'd have the pipe wrench in electrolysis right now ;D what's really neat about finding tools in fresh water is they're never as rusted as they would be if they were on dry land and buried over time. The last neat tool I dug from the water was a 1930's pair of needlenose pliers, with just a little electro they really clean up nice and work great.

Oh, I don't drink either! Especially since I saw the hangover it gave that detector! ;)

I think Gatorade might have too much sugar in it though. ;)

Ticm,
Please, allow me to be the first one to thank you for posting that random pile of junk. It was a pleasure to view the pile of trash that you dug up and carefully organized into a photographic masterpiece. A few days ago i posted the idea of TICMism...I have come up with a few basic principles that might guide us into this new revolution. Here are the first three:

1. Sic semper tyranis.
2. Viva la resistance.
3. Et nomine en patri, et fili, spiritis sancti.

Your admirer,
Crispin

At least these finds are identifiable. I hate the twisted metal that you wonder what the hell purposed it served. Good stuff!

I believe those are the original long missing vintage prototype snap on tools, the original designer was not happy with the check from Snap On so instead of turning over his designs & prototypes he dumped them in a lake. Those have to be worth in the 6 digit area forget hundreds or thousands but instead hundreds of thousands. :laughing7:. These people who think you post junk just have no idea what their looking at!
