Made it to an estate sale today that had very reasonably priced jewelry.

Rings were $15 each and Earrings $10 each

I dropped the other Calvin Begay earring in the driveway and didn’t realize until I got home. Ugh.

But there’s a nice old Fred Thompson ring with mottled green turquoise that should cover everything.

Anyone have any thoughts on the small crescent moon mark on the earrings? Or the Mexican signature on the fire opal ring?

Thanks.

Good assortment. Many NA marks are listed online, but many are not. That crescent moon is not one that turns the light switches on in my mind, plus being marked .925 isn't something that's seen on the authentic hand made NA jewelry I've come across. Some websites have hundreds of NA image marks to muddle through and still you come up empty, so the possibility is those earrings may not even be genuine authentic NA jewelry. These days the NA jewelry stands sell pieces they buy from import suppliers, because that allows them to keep up the demand in what looks like authentic pieces, but offer more affordable NA type jewelry to the tourist folks who just wanna buy something for a little less as a souvenir. The stuff I like to find is what's called the Fred Harvey era jewelry. They were made in a factory mostly by native Americans. These pieces have a great collector base and the prices keep going up and they've gotten hard to find now for a good price, but still I keep looking through the thrift shops,
flea markets and yard sales for those old Fred Harvey pieces that look like cheap knock-offs to some people. http://mobile.dudasite.com/site/riv...htm&utm_referrer=https://www.google.com/#2753

Thanks Tamrock. I think you are right. At first I thought it was Carolyn Pollock factory stuff. But no R and moon the wrong way. I’m thinking you’re right that it’s not NA.
