SOV GT

As A newby I have been to the beach wet and dry and now would like to md on land parks, old home sites.
Can anyone give some settings for the SOV GT to get me started.

Hi Wetsand;
I have a Sovereign XS-2A and for yards, campgrounds, homesites or anywhere thats trashy I just set on full discrimination. full volume, headphones and the suggested pre-set marks for sensitivity. This will give all penny, dime, quarters, halves, most jewelry. aluminum tokens, lead items, brass and copper items. Then if the finds are interesting I can go over it again in all metal and dig it all. You've got a good machine there with the GT. Hope you find a bunch.
