32 Degrees here Guess it's spring Fever !

Took my Detector to the UPS Station
at the Pharmacy to send it to Minelab
for Repair.

They will have it Tuesday if all goes well.

While there The Pharmacist asked if it was a real Detector :D
& How good it was. Says he's thinking of getting one
for the Beach.
I Told him he "can't go wrong with a Minelab !
I Love Mine !"

I've been looking pretty hard for two months now trying to figure out which detector to buy. I was sold on the AT pro because its waterproof and has good depth. Now im looking at these minelabs because I love to coin hunt. I just dont know what to get! I want to dig deep silver and then I also like to relic hunt (civil war camps). I was looking into the Explorers and E tracks but I cant seem to find out rite opinions....they seem biased.... I'm not saying you guys or others on the other forums Ive been on are biased...im saying I just cant get a feel for the positive and negative perspectives...minelabs cant be perfect..they are bound to have flaws, and the only things I hear that are bad is that you have to ship them to england to get them fixed and that they are heavy.

Point being....Please fill me in as to why I should buy a minelab Exp Safari Etrack or what ever...im not new to detecting...I have a whites MXT that I love but I need me a new toy. The explorers and etracks look like alot of fun to tinker with.

Thanks for any help!

England ? LOL (illinois)
unless maybe you live in the United Kingdom :P

Got to admit Im biased towards the Sovereign.
But Owning, Using & Learning it for 12
years will do that.

Still only thing I Realy Dislike is the weight.
Even with a Harnass (Swingy Thingy)
I still get back ache swinging for 3 to 4 hours

 in the Last 12 years, I Believe I
needed more repair then my Detector did.
& Although My detector cost More then I'm worth,
I'm alot more Expensive to fix ;D

Anyway Got a call from Minelab last Evening.
My "Tector arrived & Repairs are
averaging 15 to 20 Buisness days.

Hopefully if it can't be Repaired
they will replace with a New one
thats under Warranty :D LOL
(I Can Dream :laughing7: )

Re: Couldn't wait any longer / Sovereign Out for Repair

Sorry to hear that Jeff. I use a Sov Elite and a CZ70. The great thing about the Sov are those multiple freqs and the ability to detach and hip or pouch mount making the Sov very light. The down sides are you gotta slow down with so many freqs. The CZ blows my Sov away when it comes to area covered. Also if you like visual feed back from a display forget it. The best you get is a digimeter and that does not help with depth or ID. Of course if you know the Sov well enough it does not matter, you can figure depth, and item simply from sound. A great machine the Sov!! I hope you get your new toy out soon. It is actually hot down here right now, 86 degrees!!
Good Luck.
