Hi!
Thanks for stopping by.

I really need help ID-ing this porcelain I picked up at a local sale. I purchased it with a couple other Lladros, but this one doesn't have a mark that I recognize. It's just as beautiful and perfect as any lladro I have seen, but I can't find this particular mold, or anything even similar in my research.

About 12-14", "Made in spain" and K and R crudely carved into the base along with some other scribbles..?

Maybe you folks have some insights? You guys always blow me away..

Thanks in advance.

Brad

I've been confused like that before as well. I can't recall the exact story that somebody once told me about them, though. I think they tried to tell me that it was almost Lladro but not quite. Like there was some kind of factory connection or they were using the same molds or something, I can hardly remember, though. This had to be 4 years ago or so and I never see any Lladro for sale cheap around here. The only time I ever see any is at my parents house. I don't even see it at auctions, so I always wonder who is actually out there buying/collecting it.
