So we hunted yesterday and today and here's my finds, my cousin has the same amount if not more! CANNONBALLGUY confirmed my fragment to be a confederate 12 pounder! So that's awesome!! Check out all the minis and muskets, buttons including the steel gilded button, and the stirrup and back piece to a spur!!! I love this site!!

It's not as easy as it sounds chucks its taken me 9 years to find a site like this, it's my best site to date and I hunt every single day of the week! I gotta say though it's nice to be in a state with the potential to have civil war relics!! Thanks for looking everyone

Great finds buddy! We don't really get any Civil War stuff around here. Found a nice civilian pre-CW Benedict & Burnham (1834 - 1843) button this w/e that I'll try to post soon.

Hi! No, I've been a bit too lazy to put down my trusty SE Pro as it's still finding the good stuff--I was impressed seeing a CTX in action yesterday though....if it only had an X-1 type probe on it I gotta find some time to take the CTX out. We should talk soon--I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Deus...

I wouldn't even show the relics for quite a while. I have even heard of people knowing someone had found a nice place and would follow them to see where they were going to detect.

My best to you and may you have great success. Thats a pretty good showing, I must say, right off the bat. I hope to be swinging my Fisher 1266X at one of Wheeler's battle sites very soon. Way past time to get out there. Nothing like detecting a War Between the States site.
