“40% of the countries in the world use daylight savings time to make better use of sunlight and conserve energy”
I prefer to make better use of sunlight...like a farmer, I want to maximize my ability to work out in the sun every day without having to change my shift hours to match the seasons.
No sitting around the house watching tv for me after work.
I’ve never heard it was for the farmer. Farmers say it so the banker can have more time to golf in the evening...
I really thought it was about getting children to school and home in some sort of sun light.
The idea of saving energy is the biggest joke to me, it’s like holding your breath to save oxygen...
I never could adjust to that hour difference. I wake up at the same time every day, no matter which time we are on. I wish the time change would go away and stay away. Gary
It’s really only disruptive for a couple days a year. Seriously.
I think if daylight savings is to be done away with, it should be based on an intensive productivity study.
They have been babbling for decades about doing away with it every single year.
Never has bothered me much one way or the other, almost like a rite of spring/fall.
If they decide to have permanent daylight savings time that's OK with me.....and if they stay the way it is that's OK too because it's been that way my whole life.
