Bryce, it's fun to see a great user of this forum score BIG-TIME!! Hope you get the max. from it, $$-wise.

I just have time before the hockey game to look this beauty up in the Red Book to see how many they made. My guess'd be 'not a whole lot'.

Wow Bryce, digging the most valuable Merc on the planet and getting the chance to swing with Nick all at the same time...doesn't get any better'n that bro. Congratulations on a well deserved banner find!!

Bryce,
Oh my Gawd!!! Nice freaking find. You earned it brother!!! You have inspired me to not give up on learning this Explorer. I wish I could hear that warble you are talking about. I definitely need to start digging more deep signals and discovering what this thing is telling me sometime.

Enough about me though..........Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! :icon_thumright: :hello2: :icon_thumleft:

Baldingboy
Thanks B.B......sometimes you'll wish you didn't know what it was saying to ya' in fact...sometimes you would much rather wrap it around a tree instead of listen to it ;D
Seriously though...don't give up on it. Just take a few chances on some iffy targets. If they all turn out to be crap...and some days are like that :D ...just keep on diggin and learnin'. You will be rewarded in the end with some nice finds.

Thanks JRS. I would have still had just as much fun without digging the sweet dime. It was just the icing on the cake. :icon_thumleft:

Bryce,

Congrats on a find of a lifetime! That's what makes detecting so fun. ;D You never know what you're going to find, or where you're going to find it, or when you're going to hit it big - (it's kind of like gambling except there's no down side)!!

WTG my friend. I always look forward to your posts and your finds. Thanks for all your help and advice, too.

I would have had a heart attack for sure!!!!!!!! I have found a few 16-P's and 2 16-S's but never a 16 D.
You got a good one !!!!!!!! CONGRATS for a GREAT find!!!!! ;D ;D

Google ANACS ...you can send your coin in to get it graded and slabbed. You send it insured, with an appoximate value.

Some coin dealers can send it for you but it costs more for them to send it than doing it yourself.
