Started My 6" Build

I was just thinking. I'm wanting to put dove tail riffles like Reed has in his box...I bet those almost act like drop riffles. What do you guys think.

Jason it's new I got board at work so I went to playing one program on the laser and a trip to the press brake and walla. Just don't tell my boss.

Might check with u ship they do quotes online somehow ...

I already checked it out, it will be about $250...
My bud here told me we can get 20' here locally for like 150 or something. I'll check that lead out then go from there. Thanks though!

Update: Finished my jet, see other thread. Bought a 98 Ford F150 4x4 so I can get into hard to get places. Been working on that the last few days...it had a misfire, coolant leak, plugged ERG passage and a few other minor issues. I'm going to love it...now just need a camper to keep the ball and chain happy!

Is your box going to be fixed or adjustable? If adjustable, what method are you looking at?

Get that box uptop and adjust angle by moving forward and back for balance. ALWAYS keep the exit from being underwater. Same barrel rack design I used on my 6-8 back in 88,but 55 gallon and it was a much bigger dredge. Extremely safe in fast water -John

Its going to be adjustable just like in these pics.

I'm going to use a winch on the rear, slide on front and chain on the front.

Getting close to being done with the frame.

You can see my $75 camper I bought yesterday. Although I love camping, after awhile it gets old...

Looks like you have a nice job going on there .. Hope to hear some results from you todays on how the jet is working.. We finally got some rain today after like 5 months.. Never been so happy for water.

Thanks bill, I first I wasn't real enthused about the barrels or the size but have came around. I realized that if I ever was in a situation were I could use a 8" dredge, the floats and frame would be good to go!

Well the test has been delayed due to my bud being sick. He's thinking Tuesday or Wednesday.
