Starting February with CW relics!!! Another Teat Based Sharps!! Thanks to matt092079!

It was a very cold and windy day here in Winchester, but i put on the layers and went to it. I met my cousin (matt092079) this morning and followed him to the spot he found yesterday where he found 30 Sharps and a lot of camp lead. We were hoping that this was just a start of a camp and was hoping to find the center of it today. We both found a lot more Sharps bullets but didn't find any other camp stuff, maybe this was just a short break point before they went off to the Kernstown battle? I ended up finding 7 Sharps, 1 Spencer, 2 Melted Sharps Bullets, and 1 Spencer cartridge. We had a lot of rain the other day so there were little like streams through the woods, so i was walking up one of these streams and came across a load 70's tone thought for sure it was going to be a bottle cap on top of the ground. I kicked back the leaves and there laid a Sharps! Even better that was the Teat Based Sharps!! The 2 melted bullets are a first for me, the one you can even see the base still. Also i ended up finding one of my own buttons, Army/Navy Bibs. Thanks for looking and HH!

Glad I could help on raising your sharps count! Def. one of my favorite bullets to dig. Ringtail sharps is my fave. of course! We gotta hit those woods again for sure.

Thanks Quindy! They were a lot of fun! Once I found one i would just have to move a little and there would be another one! Hearing those tones in the headphones repeating one after another really gets the blood pumping!

Yes the Ringtail is a goal for the Relic Rescue!! Im hoping to come across a few of those.
The Teat Based Sharps is a bit shorter then the others, the diameter looks the same but its definitely shorter!

Out of 39 sharps, no teats! lol Must be a pretty rare find. You're certain to dig a ringtail up in culpeper!
