All this walking around digging up pennies is still fun:



...and I used to be able to go on forever.

But, MAN! I found myself constantly retreating to the shadows today!
I simply can't take this sort of heat like I once could.

Not a "bad" day, any time swinging is good time. Still....


Managed a whole wheat, lightly toasted.




The crew's threatening to go on strike if I stop bringing them their toys.
But, I'm just fried! I love that I can go as often as I like but....it seems that
my limitations are showing.

Don't get me wrong, I may comment about the heat but I'll never complain about it, I'm
afraid I'll chase it away.

The heat gets to everyone from time to time and more so in later years.
I'm just saying that it's time for me to recognize that I ain't 18 anymore!

Although I could hunt early or late, neither of those are appealing to me, for various reasons.
I'll just need to be more careful about which days I choose to "walk".

As long as those two don't get ahold of the bows and arrows, i think your good!
What ever you bring home should be appreciated since they aren't out helping you collect all the goodies in this heat.
I guess if the clad starts leaving burn marks when you pick it up...you're gonna need an oven mit!

Sorry i'm late to the party. My phone keeps telling me i'm running out of data storage space and some functions may not work.
I need to set up some kind of alert or early warning system notification for todays finds, because sometimes i can't "find" them on my phone. :what:

Just make sure you drink water while your detecting in the shade.
I'm detecting but too tired to battle with my phone to post.
My sweat glands are getting a work out, but i'm not complaining....don't have the energy for that!
.....at lest i don't have to shovel the sun shine!
