Yeah it’s horrible man. You did good for the time spent, better than my day yesterday for sure. Lots of driving, hours of hunting for just about nothing. It sucked.

Ya did much better than I did! Me and a buddy got out yesterday, tromped about 3/8 mile through a field to some woods in a public hunting area to try to stay out of that blazing sun...No sun, but no air moving either. Dug about 3 dozen fired bullets and shell casings. Duhhh, shoulda known. A last minute sweep uncovered an awesome ladies heel plate with a clover cutout. Then tromped the 3/8 mile back to the truck...Hot day, hot finds Whadi! Ddf.

Heat and all, you still did well. This has been absolutely the hottest, most humid summer in my life and it's definitely cut down on hunts.

Yep ! Nice Collection of Finds
Was Too hot for me today .
will be worse Tomorrow & Thursday here.

Ya know what? It was too hot for me as well. I'm just too dumb/hooked to know it sometimes. :dontknow:

As soon as I started swinging I was looking for shady spots! I *had* to shadow hop the whole time!

I got into one deeper hole, (can), and I knew I was done. Turned it off and walked slowly back to the car *WITHOUT* even trying to swing! :BangHead:

Its ok though, soon I'll be able to complain about the cold! :tongue3:
Thanks!

I could do without the Extreme Heat, But
I can't say I hate it.

I Do still HATE the COLD ! :coffee2:

I woke up a few mornings lately where it was low 70's.
I had to throw a comforter
on. :( That scares Me.

Even had to Throw a Hoodie on to go Outside
a few times. for fear of feeling cold.

I don't think I'll Survive the 40's this Year :(
Let alone Sub Zero's

When it's hot like This, I can sit in the house & veg out in front of my floor Fan.

when I'm chilled to the bone and shaking uncontrollably,
it takes awhile to get that heat to sink to my bones.
no matter how hot the heat source.

Heat may Make Me Lazy, But Cold Hurts !

Thats a nice haul in this heat, i'd say you were on fire!
.....but then that maybe a little too close to the truth, we don't want you to ignite or anything.

You did well in this persistent heat.
Those two have learned to share??? Or maybe its just to hot to tussel over the goodie.
Did you check the stones?

Today is our last 90°+ day, before we get a break, with cooler days. We are supposed to get rain but i'll believe that when it happens.

There are a couple of hurricanes scurrying around, we'll see if they make it here.
That would soak the dry ground.
