Spent around 4 hours pacing an old area. I got an old 1793 colonial coin from here a few years back. Today got me a nice colonial buckle.

Here's the buckle. It has a curvature on it to fit on th dorsal aspect of a shoe.

Here's a few more finds from today. I like how they call the old dog tags a tax, which is what they really are.


Below is another silver plated spoon.......another one to form a ring out of.

Very nice shoe buckle! I have also found 1 of those old buckles with the spikes in my detecting lifetime. Love pulling history from the ground and wondering about the history behind it.
