An old knapper, now deceased, named "Swoose" used to chip those Pandale points. They were so twisted they looked like a propeller blade. Gary

I've seen other points and blades through the years that have that same sorta twist. I always attributed it more to accumulated error in the percussion flaking than being intentional. The only analogy that i can think of is writing several lines of cursive or italicized print on unruled paper that can result in the lines going "downhill".

Great looking point in beautiful material, by the way.
