Dry sand only machine. Your depth will be cut in half on the wet sand and it will false and chatter unless you drop your sensitivity to about 1/3 of normal. It's a single-freq VLF.

the G2 is much better and can still get a ground balance its the only vlf that would stay mostly behaved in salt water conditions

Thanx for the info,guess thats why i was getting all the beep beeps. Hunted there when it was dry and did ok with the small coil.
