Weather: Cloudy with intermittent sun wind 5 mph, water 68 degrees Air temp 70ish.
Depth:4 to 10 feet / fresh water.
Time: 0730-1145 actual water time.
Finds: 2.25 in quarters/ 2@ 1967 Mint State 63 would be worth 1.00 LOL , 4 dimes , 1944 Wheat cent and several pennies(rough), the rock seen set off the machine /probe so I secured it,() , 1 lure and one bottle cap printed Taste of Vermont lol
Took my wife and her Kayak too (she had a super time) and launched my 14 foot boat. Today's funny story, there was a gentleman at the launch. He had seen my wet suit and asked if I was ONE of those divers. I responded it sounds like a bad thing and if he had a little tone. The gentleman replied, no tone but he figured I was paid to clear the weeds in swim area and how much it cost the lake residents. "Nope just metal detecting". "Oh he said your the guy with the hose and you dive. "I said is that a good thing thing?" He said yup "your the guy who pulled the ole rusty K bar out of the swim area last year". At least I have a good reputation and represent the hobby well...And I told the gentleman, if you ever need me for diving I am easy to find which he greatly appreciated.
WORKED the docks AGAIN of the empty Boy Scout camp with kids in school "now" in this NW CT lake community. It was very quiet that time in the morning with a couple boats on the water which I prefer greatly. AGAIN lots of nails and odd assortment of washers. I took a break with my wife, she was anchored to docks. Then dived again part two and find more coins/lures etc. Thank you for looking and lastly those washers are worth more than quarters, if had to buy them at the local hardware store lol! God bless the deployed troops and everyone Happy Labor day.
